Some Movies I Would Like to See
- Oz: The Great and Powerful – James Franco plays Oscar Diggs, aka Oz, a small-time circus magician whisked to the land of yellow brick roads where he meets creatures good and evil. I loved Wicked and I am looking forward to seeing what new liberties have been taken with What’s-His-Name’s classic tale. March 8
- Oblivion – The film is set in a dystopian future, where Tom Cruise plays a drone repairman who makes a discovery that could alter the war with an alien race–and mankind’s future. I am not a big fan of Tom Cruise the person, but his on-screen performances are generally undeniable. Throw in a dystopian future and war with an alien race and I’m sold. April 19
- Star Trek Into Darkness – On it way back to Earth, the crew of the Enterprise discovers a one-man weapon of mass destruction and begins a hunt for him. Chris Pine reprises his role as a young Capt. James T. Kirk. I am not a Trekkie. I’m not certain that’s how the word is even spelled. But I saw the trailer and the special effects look quite special. May 17
- Elysium –In 2159, where the rich live on space stations and the poor stay on a decimated Earth, Max (Matt Damon) takes on a mission that could bring equality to the polarized worlds. Here is another top-notch actor starring in a sci-fi flick. It’s worth a shot. August 9
- World War Z — The United Nations dispatches Gerry Lane (Brad Pitt) to stop a pandemic that is toppling armies and governments and threatens humanity. Bonus: the Lanes (Mireille Enos, Brad Pitt) must protect their kids from the onslaught of zombies. See a trend? June 21

I started looking at your site last night and thought it was kinda stupid. Spent some more time with it today and it’s pretty good. You are your own man
Thanks, Blake.
